After 40 years of connecting filmmakers to the community, NOVAC is diving head first into a new age of digital filmmaking with Cinema for a New Age: Going HD an in-depth panel discussion designed to educate filmmakers and film lovers about cinema’s transition into the digital age. Panelists ranging from award winning cinematographers and Hollywood data management firms to commercial and indie directors and a writer from American Cinematographer Magazine, will discuss how digital cinematography is not only changing how filmmakers make movies but how we all watch them.
Hosted by Tulane University and sponsored by FotoKem & Fletcher Cameras & Lenses, the event will be followed by a reception where the filmmakers and audience members will have an opportunity to network and speak one on one with expert panelists. Audience members will also have the chance to win up to six print and web subscriptions of American Cinematographer Magazine.
