NOVAC Will Offer Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling in October

NOVAC is thrilled to offer Movie Magic Scheduling (MMS) and Movie Magic Budgeting (MMB) this month. The industry standard scheduling and budgeting softwares used by producers, production managers and assistant directors and production accountants industry wide, participants will learn these in-demand skills at NOVAC’s upcoming 2-day seminar sponsored by Entertainment Partners.

MMS will cover topics like: inputing fully-lined scripts into the breakdown sheet, setting up schedules and calendar, arranging and rearranging scene strips to achieve optimal production scheduling, designing and modifying reports, and more. MMB will address: entering cost data from labor rates to contractual charges, globals, which allow the user to quickly modify entire budgets in a single keystroke, calculating fringes, fringe cut-offs and how they affect labor totals, organizing budget components, grouping to budget qualified spend for tax incentives and more.
