Abe Felix

Abe Felix is an American director and cinematographer based in Baton Rouge. His background in writing and editing for print and television birthed his passion for visual storytelling. He feels filmmaking is a platform for saying things that truly matter, and carries this responsibility into his craft. Abe's projects have won multiple Gold and Silver Addy Awards in 2014 and 2015 and Telly Award for cinematography in 2015. In his spare time he practices photography and produces The altBR Podcast with Jacob Jolibois in Baton Rouge.

    September 16 & 17, 2017:

    Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm

    NOVAC, in partnership with the Baton Rouge Office of Community Development, is providing 2 days of in-depth training to locals looking to learn about skillfully operating a DSLR camera. The class will be hosted at the Creative Bloc and taught by local filmmaker, Abe Felix.

    • Phone interviews will be scheduled between August 28 and September 1 and acceptance announcements will be made on Friday, September 1.
