
As New Orleans steps into the chilly season again and film and TV production starts to rev up, NOVAC along with The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy and Film New Orleans are providing 2 days of in-depth production assistant training in October to locals looking to enter into New Orleans’ burgeoning film industry and are seeking applicants.
The full day classes will take place October 20 – 21, 2012 at Second Line Stages where participants will gain the hands-on experience they need to prepare them for their first job on a feature film, television or commercial set. Seasoned instructors from the renowned film-industry training academy, P.A. Bootcamp, include professionals ranging from executive and line producers to 1st and 2nd Assistant Directors.
