Louisiana Film Crew Training Program Completes Successful First Year
Employers Hiring Graduates at Record Pace

In 2007, the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC) applied 35 years of video production training
experience to the creation of the Louisiana Film Crew Training Program (LFCTP). The LFCTP is
under the umbrella of the Recovery Workforce Training Program and runs for three years. It is
designed to train and place residents into film and television industry careers.
NOVAC completed year one of the program with tremendous success including employment
opportunities for the majority of the program graduates and increasing calls from prospective
