Producing the Indie · 2 Day Seminar

Course Schedule: April 13-14, 2011.  9am-5:30pm

Course Description: Producing the Indie is a two day seminar for independent filmmakers who want to produce their first, second or third feature. Topics will include: development, budgeting, line producing, marketing, finance, distribution and much more.   The class will be taught by the producer of the Oscar winning documentary Man on Wire and Bomber as well as special guest speakers, Larry Meistrich, the Oscar winning producer of Sling Blade and You Can Count on Me.  As a capstone to the seminar NOVAC will also be offering Get Funded!, an evening panel discussion designed to give independent producers an insight into financing their first feature.

Cost: Tuition for the seminar is $275 for members and $325 for non-members and includes 2 days of intensive instruction, the cost of the required textbook (Producer to Producer, 2010©) as well as admittance to Get Funded!.  Please review our rescheduling and cancellation policy before purchasing.
