NOVAC is here to help you make your projects a reality.  If you’re looking for resources to get your own project started, look into our low-cost equipment rentals, facility rentals for production meetings and castings or check below for information on fiscal sponsorship.  If you need referrals for paid positions on your project, email our Director of Programs to connect to the NOVAC crew database.

Fiscal Sponsorship

Raising money for independent projects can be intimidating, and NOVAC can help.  We offer Fiscal Sponsorship for media projects that are consistent with NOVAC’s goals and purposes.

If accepted, your independent project can secure funding from foundation, government, private, or corporate sources that require 501(c)(3) IRS status to distribute funds.  As a fiscal sponsor, NOVAC collects all funds for a project, disburses the funds, and provides screening opportunities, website space, and fiscal consultation to sponsored projects.  There are several tiers of sponsorship and the fee will be determined by the exact nature of the relationship between NOVAC and the filmmaker.  Learn More...
