NOVAC and the New Orleans, East Baton Rouge, and Jefferson Parish Libraries are hosting FREE teen video camps at local libraries this summer. Students will learn the basics of video production, including design, storyboarding, production, post-production, effects and more, through the hands-on levitra professional cheapest process of creating a video, under the guidance of an experienced local filmmaker.

Film New Orleans and NOVAC are pleased to announce a new film industry training program: NOLA FILM WORKS: COSTUME DEPARTMENT TRAINING, a 3-day wardrobe and costuming training session scheduled for three Saturdays in June 2019: the 1st, 8th and 15th.
COSTUME DEPARTMENT TRAINING is an intensive workshop designed to prepare Orleans Parish residents for entry-level jobs in the film industry wardrobe/costume departments. This training will not address costuming on independent film productions. Availability is limited! There is no cost to apply or attend, purchase propecia without a prescription thanks to support from Film New Orleans.
COSTUME DEPARTMENT TRAINING teaches participants the basic inner workings of a film or television wardrobe department, with lessons and activities based on the different positions and responsibilities within the department, including shopper, seamstress/tailor, ager/dyer, designing, and more. Veteran wardrobe department head Alison L. Parker will lead the course, along with many established guest speakers.
You must be a resident of Orleans Parish to apply.
Application deadline is Wednesday, May 15th by 5pm.
Bri Whetstone worked in Business Affairs at LucasArts in San Francisco where she handled copyright applications, drafted contracts, managed international trademarks, and drafted the Lucas Companies’ social media policy. Bri returned to New Orleans to attend Tulane Law school and focused on entertainment and intellectual property law. Since graduating magna cum laude from law school, Bri has continued to develop an entertainment and intellectual property law practice that had helped numerous musicians, artists, writers, chefs, and filmmakers.
Max Hass is an entertainment attorney and the founder of Action Potential Entertainment, LLC. He has worked with dozens of musicians in the New Orleans music community, as well as entrepreneurs, record labels, publishing companies, film productions, and visual artists. Max has developed and presented copyright workshops for musicians and visual artists and spoken on intellectual property and contract matters at NOVAC, Propeller, the Where Y’Art Gallery, and at conferences in Baton Rouge and Morgan City. He is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
