Ways to partner with NOVAC
OPTION #1 | HIRE PAID INTERNS FOR YOUR PRODUCTION
We connect productions with local aspiring PAs for on-set, in-office, or department-specific work, and can guide your production to ensure that the internships comply with the requirements of the Louisiana Film Tax Credit program.
OPTION #2 | COORDINATE A SET VISIT, EXTERNSHIP, NOVAC STAFF/INSTRUCTOR CONTINUED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
- Set Visit/Externship – Connect your production with local high school, community college, or NOVAC trainees for set visits or day-long externships.
- Continued Education – A minimum of 8 hours of continuing education for a NOVAC instructor or staff member to observe the set operations, post-production, and other specialized departments.
OPTION #3 | ARRANGE A COMMUNITY EDUCATION WORKSHOP
NOVAC can work with you to arrange a film industry learning experience that highlights the expertise of members of your team and benefits young or aspiring media makers in southeast Louisiana.
OPTION #4 | DONATE TO NOVAC
A donation to NOVAC supports our ongoing work diversifying the pipeline of talent in film and television production, as well as supporting youth media programs and independent filmmaker services in Louisiana. Financial contributions should be calculated at 0.25% of the reserved credits.
